Finally, I finally accomplished one of those NYR goals that keeps getting rolled-over from year to year!! That means I've made progress in my life. The goal I speak of is to use my two remaining graduate student ski passes to Beaver Mountain. I did! I did!
I don't know why this took so long. I like skiing. Obviously I don't make it priority or I would have used all my passes way back in 2006. I had a great time skiing this year. I have a strong desire to get a season pass for next year...but that would be silly since I don't really want to be working part-time and commuting to Logan barely making ends meet. SO, I think I will hope for a better job and a better commute and with the savings that brings into my life I will easily be able afford a season ski pass to a smaller ski resort somewhere at full price rather than at the special pre-season rate that is SO affordable.

If I could put into words the level of jealousy I feel right now... The perfect skiing buddies, the best resort ever, lots of snow and sun. I'm very happy you finally put those passes to good use!
