NYR Update

Don't worry I won't be giving updates each week about my goals. I just didn't have anything exciting to post so I thought I'd give you all an update as to what I have done this month. I promise my next post will include images. There is too much text on my blog page right now.

I have just enrolled in the Huff to Bluff Marathon scheduled for May 21, 2011. How exciting! That's a step closer to finishing 1/3rd of goal #2

I have been working on Jillian Michael's 6-Week Six Pack program. Tomorrow will end week 1. I don't feel very different. But that means I am approximately 1/6th done with half of goal #30.

I have finished 2 books this year putting me 1/25ths towards completion of goal #13.

I am 3 weeks away from being eligible to give blood, goal #12.

I've been reading the BofM almost each morning. Goal #17.

I have almost scheduled a first quarter Humanitarian Service activity (the senior missionaries weren't available to take my call so now I have to wait until Tuesday when they are back in the office, but at least the preparations are in order). Once that is scheduled I'll be 1/4th of the way to completion on goal #36.

And I have contacted a few people about the Gun Safety lecture I am creating and the a Gun Instructor course I want to take. Goal #37.

Cindy and I have talked about potential Natl. Parks/Monuments to visit this year because she has already booked campsites at another Natl Park for her 4th of July weekend thus bringing herself closer to that goal. Goal #33.

And I tried out a new recipe I think I might like to keep, its called Fairy Gingerbread. They are pretty good. I made some substitutions already so I don't really know what they are supposed to taste like. I almost used grapefruit extract instead of vanilla but decided I shouldn't deviate too much the first time through. Goal #28.

Breaking News!....added a few hours later after posting the above info......Breaking News!!

I just hung Art on my bedroom walls. Goal #14 COMPLETE...although I might add more things to my walls in the near future.

I'll just make it for you one day. I don't really want to post the recipe. That would take work.
